10 Countries – 1 Generation
From December 15th on, Nikolas Konstantin will inaugurate his unique exhibition “10 Countries”, which shows the notion of “Diversity” in an extraordinary light. The pictures display the manifoldness of the young generation and may be found on the 4th floor of the Oval in The Hague University.
Our modern society is characterized by its inherent multiplicity and still – there are only a few places on this planet where this precious attribute is joyously celebrated.
The inspirational exhibition that features pictures of students from various countries located all over the world has been created to emphasize this unique attribute. The young faces are shown in distinctive settings, expressing different emotions. The techniques of the pictures accentuate the many facets of today’s generation and the immanent disparities that diversity inevitably entails. The portraits could not be more distinctive and yet, the young people share one crucial characteristic – They are all students of The Hague University.
With this extraordinary exhibition, the students of The Hague University want to make the statement that diversity is an irreplaceable and wonderful attribute of our world today, which accompanies the process of blurring borders and differences among people, cultures, religions and every other part of society.
Enjoy the opening of the exhibition on Tuesday, 15th 16:30 in the HEBOS Canteen in the HHS.
