Kingsleys Crossing documents the journey of Kingsley, a 23-years-young swimmguard from Cameroon. Kingsley abandons his parents and family, and makes himself ready for Europe: “the new paradise”. Kingsley leaves everything behind, his family, his job and his life to follow the myth of a better world.
Documented with still photographs, the short movie is witness of a journey that is hard, long and cruel. It tells the story of a modern day hero, a young man who risks his life several times to accomplish his dream.
