Video: Apnoea

DSC_2351

Apnoea is a short movie expressing the idea of conflict.
Beliefs, illusions, certitude, incertitude, reality, dreams…
Desires…repressed or hidden, bright or obscure , acceptable or not – in our ordinary life – they are the engines which drive our imagination into unknown paths, in dreams disconnected but always deeply embedded into our daily reality.
Are we more self-conscious when we dream or when we are awake?
Are we really here, now?

  2. Thanks Mira! It was a project realized during a workshop in Poznan, Poland, organized by International Civil Service. I made this short with some friends I met there in order to show how complicate human mind could be and how difficult is adapt it to the daily reality sometimes. :-)

  4. Nicola! You are a ridiculously talented individual. Very aethetic, yet a bit hard to grasp in how far it visializes conflict. Anyway. Good stuff.
